Scientific Name: Parupeneus cyclostomus

The Yellow (Gold Saddle) Goatfish is a goatfish that comes in a bright yellow form, with long "whisker" barbels it uses to search the sand for food.

Why We're Obsessed

Watching goatfish sift the sand with their whiskers is really cool, and the yellow form is a bright pop of color. They're great sand-bed stirrers.

Care: Will eat small shrimp, worms, and crabs. Peaceful toward fish. Needs a large sand bed. Feed mysis, krill, and pellets. Max size about 15". Minimum tank size: 180 gallons.
