OUR STORY
From a Dorm Room to the Mainland
Koral King started in a college dorm room. Alan got into reefing near the end of high school, and by his first year of college he was tracking down corals and fish nobody else in the country had sourced yet — selling frags out of that dorm through Instagram DMs. No storefront. No website. Just a reefer who knew what he was looking at, and other reefers who trusted him.
That DM list turned into this. Today we ship livestock to reefers across the mainland US, we've set up at more than ten trade shows, shipped over 5,000 orders, and helped thousands of reefers get their tanks right. We still pick every piece ourselves, and you still get a straight answer from someone who actually keeps reefs.

I'm thoroughly impressed with their packaging. My corals all showed up in perfect condition. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and are some of the best in the business.

Tucked away, off the main road you can find saltwater gems. Fish, coral, and more. The pics do not do the animals justice. Customer service is top notch. Alan knows his stuff!!

One of the coolest coral shops we've visited — truly stunning, high-end pieces! We've also had corals shipped to us and were very impressed with their communication and overall process. Everything arrived carefully packaged in a well-insulated box with a heat pack, and the corals looked great on arrival.

After 47 years of keeping saltwater aquariums and buying coral from shops all over, I can honestly say my experience with Koral King was one of the best I've ever had. From the start, the owner Alan Lee was incredibly welcoming.

Alan and his team at Koral King are top notch. Recently picked up some pcs which are fire and acclimated perfectly. I recently participated in my first live sale which they help me navigate through and I even won a couple auctions. Can't wait to get up to Gainesville and see the shop in person. 6 out of five stars for this team.

I purchased a WWC Bounce Chalice and a pink Goniopora during one of The Koral King's live sales, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Both corals were packaged exceptionally well and arrived in excellent condition.

Truly the best reefer to do business with. Just bought a chalice from him and it came in less than 24 hours. Highly recommend checking him out for anything coral related.
