A Derasa Clam with a striped mantle and a bright blue ribbon pattern. Derasas have smooth shells and large, colorful mantles.
Why We're Obsessed
Derasas are one of the hardiest giant clams, and a striped mantle with blue ribbons looks incredible under reef lights.
Care: Reef safe. Needs moderate to high light. Place on the sand. Avoid fish that pick at clams (angels, butterflies, some wrasses). Benefits from stable calcium and alkalinity.
