Scientific Name: Meiacanthus smithi
Smith's (Disco) Blenny is a gray-blue fang blenny with a dark stripe from the eye up across the dorsal fin, edged in electric blue.
Why We're Obsessed
Fang blennies are always out swimming instead of hiding, and the blue edging on this one really pops under reef lights.
Care: Reef safe and peaceful. Has a mildly venomous bite for defense only. Feed mysis, brine, and pellets. Max size about 3". Minimum tank size: 30 gallons.
