The Scopas (Brown) Tang is a hardy, brown-to-gold tang with a yellow-tinted face and a white scalpel at the base of the tail.
Why We're Obsessed
Scopas tangs don't get enough credit. They're tough, always grazing, and a great algae-control fish for mid-size reefs. A solid, dependable tang that just does its job.
Care: Reef safe. Semi-aggressive toward other Zebrasoma. Feed nori and seaweed daily plus frozen and pellet foods. Max size about 8". Minimum tank size: 75 gallons.
