Sailfin Blenny

Scientific Name: Emblemaria pandionis

The Sailfin Blenny is a tiny Caribbean blenny that lives in old worm holes in the rock. Males flash a huge black sail-like dorsal fin when displaying.

Why We're Obsessed

Watching a male Sailfin pop out of his hole and flare that giant fin is one of the best little shows in a nano tank. Tiny fish, huge personality.

Care: Peaceful and reef safe. Keep with small, calm tankmates. Needs rock with small holes to live in. Feed mysis, brine, and copepods. Max size about 2". Minimum tank size: 10 gallons.
