Regal Angelfish
$249.99
Scientific Name: Pygoplites diacanthus
The Regal Angelfish has orange-yellow bands outlined in blue and white, a blue-and-yellow tail, and a spotted blue dorsal fin. Red Sea and Indian Ocean specimens are usually the hardiest.
Why We're Obsessed
The Regal is one of the most stunning angels in the ocean, plain and simple. It's not a beginner fish, but a healthy, eating Regal in an established tank is something special.
Care: Reef safe with caution (may nip LPS, softies, and clams). Peaceful for an angel. Best in mature tanks with live rock to graze; feed sponge-based foods, mysis, and clam. Max size about 10". Minimum tank size: 100 gallons.
