Koral King exists because the coral community made room for a kid selling frags out of a dorm room. Everything on this page is us trying to pay that back — to the hobby, to Gainesville, and to causes that need it more than we do.
We put money back into causes we actually believe in. That means supporting local organisations, sponsoring events in the hobby, and donating a share of our profits to charities doing real work — clean water, mental health, marine conservation, and the reef-keeping community itself.
Funding clean water access in Mali, Africa. Wells and water infrastructure for communities without a safe supply.
Advocacy and education for people living with mental illness. Proceeds from our KK + NAMI merchandise continue to support their work.
Sea turtle protection and habitat conservation research — work that keeps the same reefs we all pull from healthy.
Supporting marine aquarium clubs, hobbyist education, and ethics in the hobby — the organisation that holds this community together.
This is where we started and it is where we still are. Gainesville reefers walked into a small shop and gave it a shot before anybody outside Florida knew our name, and local clubs, hobbyists and businesses kept us going through the slow years. We are not going anywhere. We host, we sponsor, we show up, and we keep the door open for anyone who wants to talk tanks.
