Yellow Tang (Wild)

Scientific Name: Zebrasoma flavescens

The Yellow Tang is the classic bright yellow tang from Hawaii and the Pacific, with a white scalpel near the tail. These are wild-caught, medium size.

Why We're Obsessed

Wild Yellow Tangs are rarely available now, and a healthy one is still one of the best-looking fish in a reef. Nothing beats that pure yellow.

Care: Reef safe and a great algae grazer. Semi-aggressive toward other Zebrasoma. Feed nori and seaweed daily plus frozen and pellet foods. Max size about 8". Minimum tank size: 75 gallons.
