Scientific Name: Arothron mappa
The Scribbled Mappa Puffer has a body covered in dark, maze-like "map" lines, with dark rings around the eyes.
Why We're Obsessed
The Mappa is one of the coolest-looking puffers out there, and they're rarely available. Big personality, big presence, and a pattern like no other fish.
Care: Not reef safe: eats shrimp, crabs, snails, clams, and may nip corals. Keep with larger, peaceful tankmates. Feed shell-on foods to keep its teeth trimmed. Max size about 2 ft. Minimum tank size: 250+ gallons.
