Barracuda

Scientific Name: Sphyraena barracuda

The Great Barracuda is a long, silver predator with dark bars and a mouthful of sharp teeth.

Why We're Obsessed

A barracuda is the ultimate predator-tank centerpiece. It's for a very large system or a public-aquarium-style setup.

Care: Eats any fish it can catch. Needs a very large, long tank with open swimming space. Feed silversides and other whole fish. Grows very large; only suited to very large systems. Minimum tank size: 1,000+ gallons.
