The Pixie Hawkfish has a white body covered in red-to-brown spots and tiny tufts (cirri) on the tips of its dorsal fin. Like all hawkfish, it perches on rocks and watches everything.
Why We're Obsessed
Hawkfish have so much personality. They perch, look around, and follow you along the glass. The Pixie is a smaller hawk that fits into more tanks than most.
Care: Semi-aggressive. Safe with corals, but may eat small shrimp. Eats mysis, krill, and pellets. Max size about 4". Minimum tank size: 30 gallons.
