The Dr. Seuss Fish (Clown Soapfish) is a dark gray-brown fish covered in white spots, with a little "beard" flap under the chin. It looks exactly like something out of a Dr. Seuss book.
Why We're Obsessed
This is one of the weirdest, most fun fish out there, and we've had a pair in the shop before. Everyone who sees one smiles. It's a conversation piece for any predator or FOWLR tank.
Care: Not safe with small fish or shrimp (it will eat them). Releases a skin toxin when stressed, so avoid mixing with sensitive fish in small tanks. Feed meaty foods like silversides and krill. Max size about 13". Minimum tank size: 125 gallons.
