The Splendid Dottyback has a pale body with orange-yellow and blue markings and a long, flowing tail. Captive-bred.
Why We're Obsessed
Splendids are one of the larger, more colorful dottybacks. A great-looking fish for a mid-size reef, and captive-bred ones are hardy and ready to eat.
Care: Captive-bred and eating prepared foods. Reef safe with corals, but can be territorial and may eat small shrimp. Feed mysis and pellets. Max size about 5". Minimum tank size: 50 gallons.
