Yellow Eye Kole Tang

Scientific Name: Ctenochaetus strigosus

The Yellow Eye Kole Tang is a brown bristletooth tang with fine blue lines and a bright yellow ring around each eye. Its bristle-like teeth make it one of the best film-algae and detritus cleaners in the hobby.

Care: Reef safe and one of the more peaceful tangs, though it may squabble with other bristletooths. Feed nori and seaweed daily plus frozen and pellet foods. Max size about 7". Minimum tank size: 75 gallons.
