Sponge Decorator Crab

The Sponge Decorator Crab covers itself with living sponges for camouflage, so it looks like a walking sponge.

Why We're Obsessed

A crab wearing a sponge coat is hilarious and amazing. A great conversation piece.

Care: Mostly reef safe; may pick at sponges or soft corals to decorate. Scavenges leftover food. Avoid aggressive fish.
