Scientific Name: Dolabella auricularia
The Sea Hare is a large, soft, slug-like animal that eats hair algae and other nuisance algae.
Why We're Obsessed
Sea hares can clear out a hair algae outbreak fast, and they're fun to watch cruise around.
Care: Reef safe. Needs plenty of algae; once the algae runs out, they may starve, so rehome or feed nori. Keep away from pumps and overflows. Can release ink when stressed.
