The Red Coris (Yellowtail or African Coris) Wrasse is bright orange-red with white saddles outlined in black as a juvenile, and becomes a blue-spotted adult with a yellow tail.
Why We're Obsessed
Juvenile Red Coris are one of the most striking wrasses, and watching them change into the adult look is a big part of the fun.
Care: Not reef safe as an adult (eats inverts and flips rocks). Needs a sand bed and a lid. Feed mysis, krill, and pellets. Max size about 15". Minimum tank size: 125 gallons.
