The Purple Tang is a deep purple Red Sea tang with a bright yellow tail and pectoral fins. One of the most sought-after tangs, it's both beautiful and an excellent algae grazer.
Care: Reef safe. Semi-aggressive toward other tangs, especially Zebrasoma; add it last or alongside other tangs. Feed nori and seaweed daily plus frozen and pellet foods. Max size about 10". Minimum tank size: 100 gallons.
