The Puffcheek Blenny is a small labrisomid blenny from Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean, where it lives among rubble, seagrass and algae in shallow water. It reaches about 3.5 inches and has a mottled, camouflaged pattern with the full cheeks that give it its name.
Why We're Obsessed
It's a local Florida fish you don't see in stores very often. Lots of personality, and it's always perched on the rocks checking out what's going on in the tank.
Care: Give it plenty of rockwork to perch and hide in. Feeds on small meaty foods like mysis and frozen preparations, and may pick at small crustaceans. Best with peaceful to semi-aggressive tankmates.
