Mustard Guttatus Tang

Scientific Name: Acanthurus guttatus

The Mustard (Guttatus) Tang is a rounded surgeonfish with a gray body covered in white spots, a white vertical bar near the head, and mustard-yellow pelvic fins and tail base.

Why We're Obsessed

Guttatus tangs come from surge zones, so they're active, constantly moving, and love high flow. They're a little unusual-looking, and that's exactly why we like them. A fun tang that most tanks don't have.

Care: Reef safe. Semi-aggressive toward other tangs. Loves strong flow and high oxygen. Feed nori and seaweed daily plus frozen and pellet foods. Max size about 10". Minimum tank size: 125 gallons.
