Marine Betta
$249.99
Scientific Name: Calloplesiops altivelis
The Marine Betta (Comet) is a dark fish covered in white spots, with huge flowing fins and an eyespot near the tail that makes it look like a moray eel's head.
Why We're Obsessed
The Comet is one of the most elegant fish you can keep, and its eel-mimic trick is so cool. A calm, beautiful predator for a reef.
Care: Reef safe with corals, but will eat very small fish and shrimp. Shy; provide caves. Feed mysis and krill. Max size about 7". Minimum tank size: 55 gallons.
