The Whitecap Goby is a small dark goby with a bright white patch on the head and a tall, flowing dorsal fin. It pairs with a pistol shrimp and is known for its "hovering" display near the burrow.
Why We're Obsessed
Whitecaps are tiny, but they're full of character. They hover and flutter their fins in a way no other goby does. A sleeper favorite for nano reef keepers.
Care: Peaceful and reef safe. Needs a sand bed; pair with a pistol shrimp. Keep with small, calm tankmates. Max size about 2". Minimum tank size: 10 gallons.
