$3,999.99
Scientific Name: Centropyge interruptus
The Interruptus (Japanese Pygmy) Angelfish is a rare dwarf angel from southern Japan and the Ogasawara Islands: an orange-gold body with a blue head and fins covered in fine blue spots.
Why We're Obsessed
Interruptus is one of the true holy-grail dwarf angels. It's rarely collected and expensive to bring in, and a lot of reefers have never seen one in person. Japanese fish like this are why we love hunting for rare stuff.
Care: Reef safe with caution. Prefers slightly cooler water (around 75°F) and lots of caves. Feed mysis, sponge foods, and pellets. Max size about 6". Minimum tank size: 75 gallons.
