Scientific Name: Stonogobiops nematodes
The Hi Fin Red Banded Goby is a tiny white goby with diagonal red-brown bands, a yellow face, and a tall black dorsal fin with a long first spine. It pairs with a pistol shrimp.
Why We're Obsessed
It's one of the most popular shrimp gobies for good reason: small, colorful, and great in nano tanks. Pair it with a Randall's pistol and it's the perfect duo.
Care: Peaceful and reef safe. Needs a sand bed. Keep a lid. Eats mysis, brine, and pellets. Max size about 2". Minimum tank size: 10 gallons.
