Scientific Name: Gobiodon histrio
The Green Clown Goby is a tiny, bright green goby with fine red-orange lines on the face. It lives among the branches of Acropora and other branching corals.
Why We're Obsessed
Clown gobies are tiny jewels that perch in coral branches. Seeing one peek out of an Acro is the best.
Care: Peaceful. Generally reef safe, but may occasionally nip the coral it lives in. Best with branching corals to perch in. Feed mysis and brine. Max size about 1.5". Minimum tank size: 10 gallons.
