Formosa Wrasse
$62.49
Scientific Name: Coris formosa
The Formosa (Queen) Coris Wrasse is a large wrasse that changes a lot with age. Juveniles are orange with white saddles outlined in black; adults are blue-green with dark spots and a striped face.
Why We're Obsessed
Few fish change as much as a Formosa. Watching the juvenile pattern turn into the adult look is one of the coolest parts of keeping one.
Care: Not reef safe as an adult (eats crabs, snails, and shrimp, and flips rocks). Needs a sand bed and a lid. Feed mysis, krill, and pellets. Max size about 15". Minimum tank size: 180 gallons.
