The Flashing Tilefish is a rare, colorful tilefish known for shifting its colors from blue to green, yellow, and pink as it moves. It lives near sand and rubble bottoms and hovers just above its burrow.
Care: Peaceful and reef safe, but shy and a known jumper, so a tight-fitting lid is a must. Provide a sand bed and rockwork to retreat into, keep with calm tankmates, and feed small meaty foods like mysis and quality pellets several times a day. Minimum tank size: 55 gallons.
