Scientific Name: Pholidichthys leucotaenia
The Engineer Goby (Convict Blenny) is a black-and-white striped fish that digs elaborate tunnels under your rockwork. Juveniles school in the open, while adults spend more time in their burrows.
Care: Peaceful and reef safe, but it moves a lot of sand, so make sure rockwork sits on the tank bottom, not on the sand. Eats mysis, pellets, and frozen foods. Max size about 12". Minimum tank size: 55 gallons.
