Custom Rock
This is where a custom Rock Hard By Dan piece becomes yours. Every custom rock starts on our Custom Request page — you send Dan photos, sketches, or just a description of what you're picturing, he creates it from scratch, and once your design is confirmed, you check out here at the size that fits it.
Sizing is based on height (width tops out at 9" on every size):
- Small — 2–4in tall
- Medium — 4–6in tall
- Large — 6–8in tall
- X-Large — 9–11in tall
Every piece is created from scratch, one at a time — no two exactly alike. Caves, arches, shelves, towers, overhangs, tunnels, coral-mounting areas, frag structures, fish habitats, or a completely original centerpiece — if you can picture it for your reef, we'll build it.
Custom pieces are created and cured to order — please allow 2–3 weeks before it ships. Measurements may vary slightly, since every piece is hand-built rather than mass-produced.
