The Cryptic Wrasse is a small, shy wrasse with a mottled red, brown, and green body covered in tiny pale spots. True to its name, it blends right into the rockwork.
Why We're Obsessed
It's an underrated little pest picker that stays small and minds its own business. Once it settles in, you'll catch it cruising through the rocks hunting for bugs.
Care: Reef safe with corals; may pick at very small shrimp. Shy, so give it plenty of rockwork to hide in. Feed mysis, brine, and small pellets. Max size about 3.5". Minimum tank size: 30 gallons.
