Parent Species: Conspicuous Angelfish & Queensland Yellowtail Angelfish (False Personifer)
The captive bred Conspicifer Angelfish is coined by rare-fish collectors because the hybrid is so uncommon. The Conpicifer combines characteristics of both parents precenting a deep black body with bright yellow pelvic and tail fins. The front half resembles the Conspicuous Angelfish with bright orange-yellow face and brilliant blue "spectacle" rings around the eyes and lining the gill cover. It's the only endemic angelfish hybrid in Australia and is a naturally occurring. In 2018 TSM Corals imported ethe first of these incredible hybrids to the United States and is actively breeding the species in captivity. Captive bred specimens are typically hardier than wild collected examples and adapt readily to prepared foods. They are intelligent, curious, and sociable once acclimated, though best kept by experienced aquarists. Be one of the few to own this one-of-a-kind collector's fish.
