Brittle Star

Brittle Stars are fast-moving sea stars with long, flexible arms. They hide in the rockwork and come out at feeding time.

Why We're Obsessed

Brittle stars are some of the best scavengers you can add, cleaning up leftover food deep in the rocks where nothing else reaches.

Care: Generally reef safe (avoid the large green species with small fish). Scavenges leftover food and detritus. Acclimate slowly.
