Blue Niger Trigger

The Blue Niger Trigger, also known as the Redtooth Trigger, is one of the most reef-friendly triggerfish you can keep. It's a deep blue-purple fish with a lyre-shaped tail and, true to the name, small red teeth.

Why We're Obsessed
Most triggers are a gamble in a reef, but Nigers are about as mellow as the family gets. They swim out in the open all day and that color really pops under blue lights. Just keep an eye on small shrimp and crabs as they grow.
