Blue Line Wrasse

Scientific Name: Pseudojuloides kaleidos

The Blue Line (Kaleidoscope) Wrasse is a slender pencil wrasse. Males show bright blue lines over a colorful body; females are more muted.

Why We're Obsessed

Pencil wrasses are rarely kept, and the Kaleidos male is one of the most colorful. A true collector's wrasse.

Care: Reef safe and peaceful. Needs a sand bed to sleep in and a tight-fitting lid. Best in a mature tank; feed small foods several times a day. Max size about 4". Minimum tank size: 55 gallons.
