Scientific Name: Nassarius sp.
Baja Nassarius Snails are sand-dwelling snails from the Pacific coast of Mexico. They bury in the sand and pop out with a long siphon when they smell food.
Why We're Obsessed
A crew of Nassarius popping out of the sand at feeding time is so fun, and they're great sand-bed cleaners.
Care: Reef safe. Needs a sand bed. Scavenges leftover food and detritus.
