Nerite Snail
$1.99
Scientific Name: Nerita sp.
Nerite Snails are small, round snails with dark, often patterned shells. They graze film algae on the rocks and glass.
Why We're Obsessed
Nerites are tough little algae eaters that can right themselves if they fall over. A solid part of any cleanup crew.
Care: Reef safe. Eats film algae and diatoms. Some may climb above the waterline, so keep a lid or a lower water level.
