The Marginalis (Margined Coralfish) Butterflyfish is a close relative of the Copperband from northern Australia, with a long snout, copper-orange bands, and a black-edged rear.
Why We're Obsessed
Marginalis is the rarer Australian cousin of the Copperband, and you hardly ever see one for sale. A real collector's butterfly.
Care: Reef safe with caution (may pick at feather dusters and some LPS). Peaceful. Can be picky at first; feed live or frozen mysis, clam, and blackworms. Max size about 7". Minimum tank size: 75 gallons.
