Scientific Name: Synchiropus picturatus
The Spotted (Psychedelic Spotted) Mandarin Dragonet is covered in green, orange, and black ringed spots.
Why We're Obsessed
It's the spotted cousin of the classic mandarin, with a pattern that looks hand-painted. Always a showstopper.
Care: Peaceful and reef safe. Needs a mature tank with a big copepod population, or must be trained to eat frozen foods. Max size about 3". Minimum tank size: 30 gallons (larger is better for pods).
