Maroon Lightning Clownfish

Scientific Name: Premnas biaculeatus (designer morph)

The Lightning Maroon is one of the most famous clownfish ever found: a maroon with wild, lightning-bolt white patterning. The original came from Papua New Guinea, and today's fish come from captive-bred lines.

Care: Captive-bred and eating prepared foods. Reef safe but more aggressive than ocellaris; best kept as the only clownfish, alone or as a pair. Females grow largest. Max size about 5–6". Minimum tank size: 30 gallons.
